Anders Eriksson

Anders was born in Eskilstuna, Sweden. He is a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 where he graduated with a BA in Liberal Arts and a Minor in Business Administration. As the Longhorn No. 1 singles and doubles player Anders received the following honors;

Grant Doyle

Originally from Australia, Grant Doyle has played and coached at the highest level of the game. Coach Doyle achievements as a coach include taking Sam Querrey at 15 years old and helping him become a top 50 ATP player with a highest ranking of 34. Sam's other achievements include winning the US National Hardcourts in Kalamazoo and recently reaching the 4th round of the US Open and represented the USA in Davis Cup. Coach Doyle has worked with a lot of players and helped them gain full scholarships to the best universities in the country including Stanford, USC, Berkeley, Pepperdine and Virginia.

As a player, Doyle was ranked number 1 in the world as a junior in January 1992. His finest achievements as a junior included wins at the Australian Open in 1992 and the Italian Open in 1991 and also won the French Open doubles that same year. Coach Doyle also has the distinction of becoming one of the few Australian players that won every national age group from under 12's thru under 18's. After turning professional in 1991, Coach Doyle played on the ATP circuit for 10 years and had wins over several top 10 players. After moving to Austin in 2006, Coach Doyle is now looking forward to working with and creating the next generation of future champions of US tennis.

Vince Segovia

Vince has coached junior tennis for more than 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the AESA program. He founded and directed the Barton Creek Tennis Academy that produced several highly ranked sectional and national players. Vince also coached at the Austin Tennis Academy and St. Stephen’s Tennis Academy where six of his students reached top 50 national ranking in various age groups. Ten of his former students have earned tennis scholarships to Division One programs. He has been a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association for 19 years with the rating of a Pro 1.

Brandi Goldsmith

Brandi Goldsmith is the Manager at the PoloTennis Club.  She has been with us since 2008.  Brandi is in charge of the day to day operations at the club. She is also the director of fundraising for the AESA Prep School which is located at the Polo Tennis Club. She was just appointed Operations Manager for the Polo Tennis Academy and High Preformance Academy. If you are interested in membership, need information about tennis classes or have any other questions please contact Brandi. She will be happy to assist you!

Prior to working at the Polo Tennis Club, she was the junior team coordinator for a local gymnastics club. She is also a former gymnast of nine years and coached gymnastics for many years. Brandi's background also includes project management and client relations, being a mom and a wife.

Emilien Rabin

PTR pro Emilien Rabin was a member of the Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team. He represented the university as # 1, 2, 4 and 5 singles player and # 1 doubles. He was nationally ranked as high as # 47 in singles and # 3 in doubles.

Emilien is from France where he began playing tennis as a 6 year old. He attended a tennis academy between the ages of 11 and 18 where he played national and international junior tournaments as well as Future tournaments. Before coming to the US he received his Brevet D'Etat 1st Degree (French national tennis coaching certification) in Poitiers, France.

He has been teaching juniors and adults of all levels at the Polo Tennis Club since June 2006.

Gary Shelly

Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, PFTA,CPR). Gary specializes in both sides of the health and fitness equation: nutrition and exercise. In 2002, Gary moved to Dripping Springs with his wife and two children. He coaches baseball, softball, and basketball and served as the DSYSA Softball Commissioner in 2006.

He is a graduate of the Professional Fitnesss Trainer Association. He trained clients at 24 HR Fitness before starting his own personal training business, Total Control Personal Training. Gary has trained athletes for the Roddick/Doyle Tennis Academy. He also trains youth athletes to reach their sport specific goals.

Dave Lemke

Dave Lemke trained as a Massage Therapist in Canada from 1985 to 1989 and has used kinesiological surface electromyography (computer muscle analysis) extensively in the development of his unique treatment system. Called Functional Neuromuscular Therapy (fNMT), this treatment consists of an exact sequence of muscle manipulations, trigger point releases and aided stretches. Unlike any other systems of massage or manual treatment, fNMT targets the dysfunctional motor patterns underlying common muscle imbalances that impair performance and lead to injury. Dave’s fNMT treatment for the shoulder was the subject of research studies involving Idaho State University’s Master of Physical Therapy program from 1997 to 2000. fNMT is relied on by many top tennis juniors and touring professionals.

Ryan Simme

Ryan Simme joins our staff with an extensive coaching and playing background. Most recently, Ryan served three years as the Head Professional at Barton Creek Country Club where he helped run the Barton Creek Junior Academy and directed the Player Development program. Prior to his Barton Creek position, Ryan was an academy coach at the ATA were he worked with several highly ranked juniors. As a player, Ryan was an accomplished collegiate and junior competitor. He was ranked #1 in the Texas Section in every age group, and finished his junior career as the #4 ranked player in the U.S. Ryan played his collegiate tennis at the University of Notre Dame were he played lines #1 and #2 most of his career. He reached his highest collegiate ranking of #15 in his sophomore year while playing futures and challengers on the ATP Tour.
